Roberto Mancini makes five changes to his side as Manchester City welcome Everton to the Etihad Stadium.

Joleon Lescott has been recalled to the Manchester City team for Saturday's visit of Everton to the Etihad Stadium.

The central defender has fallen out of favour with Roberto Mancini recently but his inclusion is one of five changes to the side that beat Wigan Athletic in midweek.

Carlos Tevez, Samir Nasri, Edin Dzeko and Aleksandar Kolarov are also given starting spots by Mancini.

Everton manager David Moyes has the luxury of naming an unchanged team for the trip to face the champions following the confirmation that Leighton Baines had recovered from a hamstring injury.

Man City: Hart, Maicon, Kompany, Lescott, Kolarov, Yaya Toure, Barry, Silva, Nasri, Tevez, Dzeko

Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Baines, Distin, Jagielka, Naismith, Pienaar, Osman, Gibson, Fellaini, Jelavic
