Midfielder David Silva returns to the Manchester City starting lineup for the Premier League clash against Watford.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has made five changes to his starting XI for Tuesday's Premier League home game against Watford.

David Silva, who missed the last two games for personal reasons, starts alongside Kevin De Bruyne, who has made an instant return from the injury he suffered in the 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace.

Guardiola has made five changes in all as Sergio Aguero replaces the injured Gabriel Jesus, while England trio John Stones, Raheem Sterling and Fabian Delph also return to the lineup.

Danilo, Eliaquim Mangala, Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva all drop to the bench as the Citizens aim to get back to winning ways following the stalemate against the Eagles.

Watford boss Marco Silva, meanwhile, has made two changes from the side that lost 2-1 to Swansea City.

Etienne Capoue and Andre Gray are drafted into the XI, with Tom Cleverley dropping to the bench and Stefano Okaka not in the squad.

Manchester City: Ederson; Walker, Otamendi, Stones, Delph; Fernandinho, Silva, De Bruyne, Sterling, Sane; Aguero
Subs: Bravo, Bernardo, Danilo, Mangala, Gundogan, Yaya Toure, Zinchenko

Watford: Gomes; Janmaat, Wague, Kabasele, Zeegelaar; Doucoure, Watson; Carrillo, Capoue, Richarlison; Gray
Subs: Karnezis, Prodl, Mariappa, Holebas, Cleverley, Pereyra, Sinclair
