Pablo Zabaleta impressed by Manchester City signings

Pablo Zabaleta says that Manchester City's new signings have made them a stronger team this year.

Pablo Zabaleta has hailed the impact of Manchester City's summer signings since joining the club.

The Premier League giants recruited Fernandinho from Shakhtar Donetsk, Stevan Jovetic from Fiorentina, Atletico Madrid's Martin Demichelis as well as Sevilla duo Jesus Navas and Alvaro Negredo during the recent transfer window.

Zabaleta is certain that the new boys will continue to impress as the season goes on and believes that they have made City a stronger force to be reckoned with, despite losing Carlos Tevez to Juventus.

"The new signings have all brought something different," Zabaleta told Sky Sports News.

"Alvaro Negredo, Jesus Navas and Fernandinho have settled in very quickly and have already had a big impact.

"Jovetic and Demichelis haven't played a lot of games yet but they will get their chance. I think they have made the team much stronger."

Manchester City travel to Newcastle United in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday night.
