Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Toure picks up a leg injury during Manchester City's 2-0 defeat to Supersport United on Sunday.

Yaya Toure could miss the remainder of Manchester City's pre-season tour of South Africa after picking up a leg injury in their 2-0 defeat to Supersport United on Sunday.

The Ivorian was introduced in the second half by City boss Manuel Pellegrini but was forced off with five minutes remaining after seemingly picking up a heavy blow on his shin.

City's tour continues against Amazulu in Durban on Thursday, but it is unlikely that the former Barcelona midfielder will be fit to take part.

Goals from Mame Niang and Kermit Erasmus secured the famous victory for Supersport, who finished sixth in their domestic league last season.
