Manchester City's Manuel Pellegrini wins Manager of the Month for January

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has been named the Manager of the Month for the second time in a row after his side's performances in January.

The North-West outfit had a 100% record in the Premier League having secured wins over Swansea City, Newcastle United, Cardiff City and Tottenham Hotspur.

Pellegrini, who also picked up the award for December, oversaw his side score 14 goals in January to keep them in the Premier League title race.

However, the former English champions have not had the brightest start to February, having lost 1-0 to Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium.
