Manchester City are today expected to learn the extent of a toe injury for midfielder James Milner.
The England international was absent for the Premier League champions' 1-1 draw with Arsenal yesterday after suffering the problem in a training session.
The 26-year-old is reportedly due to discover whether he will be sidelined for several weeks after a scan today, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Milner has already been ruled out of tomorrow's Capital One Cup clash against Aston Villa.
