Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini says that he wants his side to secure the Premier League title safely this season and avoid another dramatic final day.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has claimed that he is desperate not to repeat last season's dramatic Premier League title win.

The North West outfit snatched the elusive trophy out of their bitter rivals Manchester United's clutches in the final minutes of the season courtesy of a last-gasp goal from Sergio Aguero.

"I hope if we win the title this year it will be a few games before," said Mancini. "Winning it like we did is too difficult."

The reigning champions are yet to record a victory in their two pre-season games so far.
