Man City to play charity match

Manchester City have confirmed that they will play a charity match in Italy next month to raise money for flood victims.

The Premier League leaders will take on a team made up of players from Genoa and Sampdoria on Wednesday, February 8.

Six people died in flash floods which hit northern Italy last November.

The City squad will remain in Italy to train before their league match at Aston Villa on Sunday, February 12.
