Joleon Lescott praises Manchester City win

Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott has admitted that he was pleased with his side's clean sheet in the 3-0 win over Sunderland on Saturday.

The 30-year-old, who has been omitted from the City side in recent weeks, was part of a defence that secured their first shutout of the season against the Black Cats.

"Good weekend all round. Three points for City. Clean sheet was a bonus," he tweeted.

City currently occupy second in the Premier League table.
