Joe Hart: 'Sergio Aguero rubbish in training'

Man City goalkeeper Joe Hart does not mind if hitman Sergio Aguero is "useless" in training providing the Argentine continues doing the business on the field.

Joe Hart has praised Manchester City teammate and "big-game player" Sergio Aguero - but revealed that the Argentine was "useless" in training.

Aguero moved level with Chelsea hitman Diego Costa on nine goals in the Golden Boot stakes after netting four times in Saturday's 4-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur.

In doing so, the 25-year-old also usurped compatriot Carlos Tevez as City's most prolific marksman in the Premier League era with 61 goals.

"He is one of those players and I don't think he will be unhappy with me saying it, that some days you look at him in training and he is useless," the goalkeeper told reporters.

"But you know that when it comes to games he is going to score, because he is that talented, that good a player. He is a big-game player."

Manuel Pellegrini's side sit second in the Premier League table, five points adrift of Chelsea.
