Manchester City will be looking to pick up where they left off before the international break when they take on Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-final on Saturday.

The Citizens defeated Arsenal 2-0 in the EFL Cup final in their final match before the international break, securing the first available silverware of the season. 

Now looking to go one step closer to completing a domestic cup double, Pep Guardiola will be eager for his side to progress past Liverpool and into the semi-finals.

Josko Gvardiol

Status: Out

Type of injury: Tibial fracture

Possible return date: April 26 (vs. Burnley)

Gvardiol suffered a tibial fracture at the beginning of this year, which required surgery, and he is facing a fight to be back fit before the end of the season.


John Stones

Status: Out

Type of injury: Calf

Possible return date: April 12 (vs. Chelsea)

Stones had to pull out of the England squad during the international break due to suffering a calf injury, leaving the central defender expected to sit out from this match.


Ruben Dias

Status: Out

Type of injury: Knock

Possible return date: Unknown

Dias has been absent due to a knock since the second leg defeat to Real Madrid in mid-March, and the defender remains unavailable.
