Toure omitted from City's CL squad

Manchester City have fuelled speculation linking Kolo Toure with a move away from the club by leaving the defender out of their Champions League group stage squad.

Turkish giants Galatasaray have declared their interest in the former Citizens skipper, who has found regular football hard to come by following his six-month ban for a failed drugs test.

Despite recently stating his willingness to stay at the Etihad Stadium, Toure's future appears to have been decided for him after boss Roberto Mancini omitted him from his 24-man selection.

New signings Javi Garcia, Scott Sinclair, Maicon and Matija Nastasic are all included, alongside forward John Guidetti, who enjoyed a prolific 2011-2012 season on loan at Dutch side Feyenoord.

City have been drawn alongside Real Madrid, Ajax and Borussia Dortmund in what has been dubbed 'the group of champions'.
