Salomon Rondon has moved to Rubin Kazan for undisclosed fee

Rubin Kazan have signed Salomon Rondon from Malaga for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old scored 25 goals in 67 appearances last season as Malaga clinched a fourth-place finish in La Liga.

However, the Andalusians have been blighted by financial problems since the takeover of Qatari businessman Sheik Abdulla and the Venezuelan international has made the move to Russia on a four-year contract.

Malaga have been forced to look at offers for their other top stars this summer, with Santi Cazorla heavily linked with Arsenal.
