Lyon held by Toulouse

Martin Braithwaite scored a late equaliser for Toulouse to deny Lyon victory in their Ligue 1 meeting at the Stade de Gerland.

Lyon came close to opening the scores when Clement Grenier burst into the box, before striking an effort into the side netting.

In the 25th minute, the home side took the lead when Alexandre Lacazette fired a low shot into the bottom corner.

At the start of the second half, Lyon had a chance to double their advantage, but Ali Ahamada managed to keep out Lacazette's attempt.

Ahamada was again called into action to deny Ben Basat from his powerful low-drive.

With eight minutes left to play, Toulouse equalised. Aymen Abdennour saw his shot blocked and Braithwaite took advantage by firing the ball into the top corner to earn his side a point.
