Lyon have confirmed that manager Remi Garde is to leave the club this summer.
The 48-year-old joined Les Gones in 2011 before leading the team to glory in both the Coupe de France and the Trophee des Champions in 2012.
Lyon are currently in fifth place in the Ligue 1 table with one game left to play this season.
"Remi will not extend his contract despite multiple proposals on our side," president Jean-Michel Aulas is quoted as saying by Soccerway. "Remi took this decision based on personal and family reasons.
"We hold the man in high esteem - but Remi has also performed tremendously given the means he had been given."
Garde spent six years as a player with Lyon before ending his career at Arsenal in 1999.
