Lyon captain Cris has shown recognition for the efforts of Quevilly by inviting their captain to lift the Coupe de France trophy with him.

However, as Cris was about the lift the trophy, he called upon opposition captain Gregory Beaugrard to raise it with him.
The gesture was seen as a tribute to the efforts of the third-tier minnows in reaching this year's final.
