Lorient beat Troyes

Lorient beat Troyes

Lorient ran out 3-2 winners over Troyes in the Ligue 1 clash this evening to claim all three points.

Stephane Darbion had the first chance of the game on seven minutes, but he could not find the finish to give Troyes the lead.

Despite the away side threatening early on, it was Lorient who grabbed the lead after 20 minutes when Jeremie Aliadiere set up Kevin Monnet-Paquet, who made it 1-0.

Enzo Reale then doubled the home side's lead on 27 minutes after being set up well by Maxime Barthelme.

Troyes's hopes of a comeback were given a boost on 66 minutes when Jeremie Brechet headed home a Darbion cross to make it 2-1.

Mounir Obbadi had a huge chance to equalise for Troyes, but his effort was put wide of the post.

Gregory Bourillon then confirmed the win for Lorient on 83 minutes, heading home a cross from Reale.

Fabien Camus scored a late goal for Troyes on 88 minutes, though it wasn't enough to trouble the home side, who took all three points.
