Bastia denied back-to-back victories by Lorient late show

Benjamin Moukandjo scores a penalty one minute into added time to rescue Lorient a 1-1 draw against Bastia in Ligue 1.

Bastia have maintained their unbeaten start to the Ligue 1 season by drawing 1-1 against Lorient at the Stade de Moustoir.

Just four minutes had been played before Floyd Ayite scored what looked to be the only goal of the game, but a penalty conceded in stoppage time denied Les Merlus a place at the top of the table.

Ayite managed to place the ball beyond Benjamin Lecomte, before Didier Ndong tested Jean-Louis Leca with a 25-yard drive.

Majeed Waris also saw a chance pass him by after heading narrowly over the bar when picked out, as the Blues continued to close in on an equaliser.

Francois Kamano was the next player to come close to adding the game's second goal, which eventually arrived in added time.

Substitute Sebastien Squillaci brought down Denis Bouanga inside the box, allowing Benjamin Moukandjo to level up from the spot.
