Wolves enquire about Liverpool's Paul Konchesky

Wolves have looked into the possibility of signing Liverpool defender Paul Konchesky.

The 30-year-old joined the Reds last summer on a four-year, £3.5 million deal from Fulham but failed to impress new boss Kenny Dalglish and was loaned out to Notts Forest in January.

Now Dalglish is looking to offload Konchesky, who has two England caps, for £2 million.

Wolves manager Mick McCarthy is reportedly a "big admirer" of the player and unsuccessfully attempted to sign him on loan earlier this year due to regulatory issues.
