Report: Sevilla interested in loan move for Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno

Sevilla are reportedly hoping to re-sign left-back Alberto Moreno from Liverpool this summer.

Sevilla have reportedly made an approach to re-sign Alberto Moreno on loan from Liverpool.

The 25-year-old made just two Premier League starts last season, with James Milner preferred to him at left-back in Jurgen Klopp's starting lineup.

In addition, Liverpool's acquisition of Andrew Robertson from Hull City has prompted many to believe that Moreno will slip further down the Reds pecking order.

According to Spanish outlet Diario de Sevilla, Moreno's former club have enquired about a potential loan move for the defender.

It is reported that Sevilla want to sign the Spaniard on a season-long loan with an option to buy next summer and also that he would supposedly keen on a return to La Liga.

Despite his lack of minutes for Liverpool last season, Klopp has suggested that Moreno could still have a future at Anfield.
