Report: Liverpool chase Birmingham City forward Demarai Gray

Liverpool are lining up a move for 19-year-old Birmingham City winger Demarai Gray, according to reports.

The England Under-20 international penned a new deal with the Blues in the summer, but reports claim that the contract includes a £3.5m buyout clause.

The Liverpool Echo suggests that if Gray were to stay with Birmingham until the end of the season, this figure would drop as low as £3m.

Leicester City were also linked with a move for Gray during the summer.
