Liverpool are reportedly on the verge of completing a deal to sign Helsinki forward Joel Pohjanpalo.
The 18-year-old, who netted 33 goals in 23 matches for the club's reserve team last season, turned down a place at the Reds academy nine months ago.
However, the Anfield outfit have reignited their interest in Pohjanpalo and are at an advanced stage of contract negotiations with the player, according to The Metro.
It is understood that Pohjanpalo will command a transfer fee in the region of £1m.
He has been capped five times by Finland at Under-21 level, scoring once.
