Report: Samuel Eto'o undergoes Liverpool medical

Samuel Eto'o has reportedly undergone a medical in Paris ahead of his proposed move to the Liverpool.

The former Chelsea striker has been linked with the Anfield side after coming to the end of his contract at Stamford Bridge.

According to The Mirror, Liverpool put the Cameroon international through a medical in case their deal for Mario Balotelli falls through, although there remains a possibility that they may sign both forwards.

It is understood that the 33-year-old has been offered a one-year deal with the club.
