Pepe Reina's agent denies Liverpool exit claims

Reina's agent denies exit claims

Pepe Reina's agent has dismissed reports linking the player with a move away from Liverpool.

The Spanish shotstopper has endured a difficult start to the new campaign, taking the blame for several goals the Reds have conceded.

However, Reina's representative Manuel Garcia Quilon insists that his future lies at Anfield.

"There is no problem right now. Pepe has played many games in the Liverpool shirt and is used to all kinds of rumours," he told CalcioMercato/.

"It is clear he is not having an easy time because the team has not started the season well and liability is falling on him.

"But this will end when he returns to form. He still has four years to run on his contract and rumours of leaving Liverpool are just that - rumours."

Reina joined Liverpool from Spanish side Villarreal in 2005.
