Dennis Praet's agent fuels Liverpool rumours

The agent of Dennis Praet has given strong hints that his client will leave Anderlecht this transfer window following reports that Liverpool are preparing a "monster bid" for his signature.

The 21-year-old midfielder has made almost 120 league appearances for the Belgian side, who value him at £22.3m, but is thought to be seeking an exit this month.

"What can he gain by spending one more season at Anderlecht?" Praet's agent Jacques Lichtenstein told Voetbal International.

"He has already played for three years and has contributed to three back-to-back league titles."

Serie A side Fiorentina were also rumoured to be chasing a deal but withdrew their interest after learning of the capital side's asking fee.
