Stephane Mbia open to Liverpool move

Stephane Mbia, who is on loan at Sevilla from Queens Park Rangers, welcomes reported interest from Liverpool.

Stephane Mbia has welcomed reported interest from Premier League outfit Liverpool.

The Cameroon international is currently on loan at Sevilla from Queens Park Rangers and has impressed during his spell in La Liga.

Liverpool and Everton are both reportedly interested in the midfielder, who has revealed a desire to play Champions League football.

"Playing in the Champions League, that's my goal," he told Estadio Deportivo.

"Liverpool? For me, it is a pride. Liverpool are a great team that will play the Champions League. Everton is also a great team, but I cannot say what will happen in the future."

Sevilla are also believed to be keen on keeping Mbia at the Estadio Ramon.
