Liverpool want Borussia Monchengladbach duo Marcus Thuram, Denis Zakaria?

Liverpool are reportedly in the running to sign Borussia Monchengladbach pair Marcus Thuram and Denis Zakaria.

Both players have impressed for a Gladbach side sitting third in Bundesliga and are rumoured to be on the radar of numerous European heavyweights.

According to a report carried by the Liverpool Echo, defensive midfielder Zakaria and French forward Thuram - the son of World Cup winner Lilian - are both on Liverpool's radar.

Jurgen Klopp is no stranger to signing players from the German top flight, having previously plucked Naby Keita from RB Leipzig, and the Reds boss is said to be weighing up a double raid this summer.

However, the Premier League champions-elect may face competition from bitter rivals Manchester United for Zakaria.
