Liverpool are reportedly set to rival Juventus for the signing of Leandro Paredes from Paris Saint-Germain.

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes, who is also a target for Juventus.

With Naby Keita, Thiago Alcantara, Curtis Jones and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain currently injured, the Reds are in the market for a new midfielder.

The Premier League side have been linked with Marcos Llorente, Jude Bellingham and Frenkie de Jong, but PSG's Paredes has emerged as another midfield option.

According to Calciomercato, Liverpool are considering a move for the 28-year-old, but they face competition from Juventus.

Paredes is believed to be valued between €25m (£21.2m) and €30m (£26m), and Liverpool could use Roberto Firmino in a potential deal to ward off interest from the Turin club.

The Argentina international has featured in all four of PSG's games this season, but he is yet to be included in a starting lineup this term.
