Liverpool target Sead Kolasinac in talks over new contract with Schalke 04

Sead Kolasinac has suggested that he is keen to extend his stay with Schalke 04.

The left-back has been linked with a summer switch to Liverpool but the Bosnia and Herzegovina international has revealed that he is currently in negotiations with the Bundesliga club.

The 23-year-old told Kicker: "[Christian] Heidel (Schalke general manager) has already contacted my agent over prolonging my contract.

"It must fit both sides, but there is no time pressure. I feel good here and Schalke is a great club."

Kolasinac has made nine appearances for Schalke in all competitions this season.
