Liverpool 'set sights on Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara'

Versatile Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara is a transfer target for Liverpool, according to a report.

The 21-year-old, who can also fill in at centre-back, has made 29 appearances for Marseille this term in Ligue 1 and the Champions League.

Barcelona, AC Milan and Manchester City were credited with an interest in the France Under-21s international last year.

Italian outlet Calciomercato suggests that Liverpool are the latest high-profile side to monitor Kamara with a view to making a move in the summer.

Marseille may be forced to cash in on their academy product as he has just over a year to run on his existing contract.
