Klopp to recall Lazar Markovic?

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly weighing up whether to recall winger Lazar Markovic from his loan spell at Fenerbahce.

The Serbia international was allowed to leave Anfield for Turkey by Brendan Rodgers in the summer after failing to impress in his debut season in England after a £20m move from Benfica in 2014.

Markovic returned from injury for the Istanbul giants at the weekend to make his fourth appearance for the club since his temporary loan switch.

However, The Mirror reports that Klopp is considering whether to bring the 21-year-old back to the Premier League in a bid to boost his attacking options.

The paper claims that Liverpool have the option to cut short the loan deal in January, but that the former Borussia Dortmund manager is keen to have the winger at his disposal immediately.

The Reds host Rubin Kazan in the Europa League on Thursday night before Southampton visit Anfield at the weekend.
