Liverpool release goalkeeper Alexander Doni with immediate effect after two years with the club.
Goalkeeper Alexander Doni has been released by Liverpool after a two-year spell at Anfield.
The 33-year-old has not featured for the Merseyside club this season, after finding himself as third-choice goalkeeper behind Pepe Reina and Brad Jones.
The Brazilian international, who joined Liverpool after a six-year stint with Roma, made just four appearances in the Premier League.
It is expected that Doni could return to Brazil in an attempt to win back his national team place ahead of the 2014 World Cup.
