Giorgio Chiellini laughs off Liverpool rumours on Twitter

Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini has laughed off rumours linking him with a move to Liverpool in January on his Twitter account.

The 49-cap Italy man reportedly caught the eye of the Reds as they look to bolster their back line.

However, Chiellini has now dismissed such speculation.

"When I read these things, it really is laughable," the 27-year-old wrote on the social media site.

"They really don't know what to write."

Kenny Dalglish's side are currently seventh in the Premier League, already 15 points adrift of Manchester City.
