Diogo Jota scores a 95th-minute winner to hand Liverpool a 4-3 success over Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday's Premier League thriller at Anfield.

Liverpool made it four Premier League victories in a row, boosting their outside top-four hopes in the process, courtesy of a 4-3 success over Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday's clash at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp's side were three goals ahead inside the opening 15 minutes, with Curtis Jones, Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah on the scoresheet, with Tottenham fans leaving the stadium in the early stages of a game for the second away fixture in succession following last weekend's horror show against Newcastle United.

Harry Kane managed to register for Ryan Mason's team in the latter stages of the first period, before Son Heung-min netted a second in the latter stages; Richarlison's first Premier League goal for Spurs then looked to have secured a dramatic point for the visitors in second-half stoppage time.

However, Diogo Jota came up with a spectacular winner in the 95th minute of the contest to hand Liverpool all three points in a dramatic finish at Anfield.

Liverpool have moved into fifth position in the Premier League table, seven points behind fourth-placed Manchester United, who have a game in hand, while Spurs have dropped to sixth, with the North London side nine points off the Champions League spots, and they have now played two games more than Man United.

The hosts took the lead in the third minute of the contest at Anfield, with Jones finding the back of the net with an impressive volley after being picked out by Trent Alexander-Arnold's cross from the right.

The Reds then doubled their advantage in the fifth minute, with Cody Gakpo breaking into the Tottenham box before delivering into Diaz, who turned the ball into the back of the net with another volley.

Spurs were absolutely all over the place, and Liverpool were awarded a penalty in the 14th minute when Cristian Romero brought Gakpo to the ground with a rash challenge.

Salah stepped forward despite missing his last two penalties, and the Egypt international made no mistake this time, chipping down the middle to make it 3-0 to the hosts.

Salah placed one just wide of Fraser Forster's goal in the 22nd minute, with Liverpool in complete and utter control of the contest against Mason's side.

Kane had a sight of the Liverpool goal in the 29th minute, but he fired wide of the post, and the offside flag was raised shortly after, with the England captain just past the final defender.

Son had a golden chance for the visitors in the 39th minute, but the forward, having been found by Kane, saw his goal-bound strike expertly blocked by Virgil van Dijk.

Tottenham did manage to register shortly after, though, with Kane volleying through the legs of Alisson Becker after Ivan Perisic had picked out the forward inside the box.

Alisson then had to get down to keep out an effort from Dejan Kulusevski, with Tottenham having three excellent openings in the latter stages of the first period, but they only managed to take one.

Son curled one against the post in the 44th minute, but the offside flag would have prevented the South Korean from registering if his attempt had crept into the corner.

Son also rattled the post with a low strike early in the second period, with Tottenham coming so close to scoring a second at Anfield, with Liverpool again sloppy after the restart.

Romero also hit the Liverpool post with an effort in the 54th minute, before Alisson tipped a Pedro Porro effort over the crossbar with a smart piece of goalkeeping, with the visitors having more than enough chances to cancel out the incredible start from the home team.

Son made it 3-2 in the 77th minute, with the attacker racing clear before expertly slotting the ball past Alisson, setting up a grandstand finish in Merseyside.

Richarlison had a late shout for a penalty when he was pulled down by Ibrahima Konate, before the Brazilian then registered in the 93rd minute, sparking jubilant scenes in the away end.

However, in a stunning turn of events and 99 seconds after the leveller, Jota came up with a last-gasp winner for the Reds, with the Portugal international slotting into the bottom corner after a mistake from Lucas Moura.

Next up for Liverpool is a home game against Fulham on Wednesday night, while Spurs will welcome Crystal Palace to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.
