Team News: Fernando Torres starts against Liverpool

Fernando Torres has been named in Chelsea's starting XI for this afternoon's Premier League clash against Liverpool at Anfield.

The Spanish forward, who left the Reds to move to Stamford Bridge for a transfer fee of £50m in January 2011, will begin the game at the front of a 4-2-3-1 formation.

John Terry and Frank Lampard are among the substitutes for Chelsea, who are still without Ashley Cole due to a hamstring injury.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has made just one change following last week's 0-0 draw at Reading.

Stewart Downing replaces Daniel Sturridge, who is on the bench.
