Sunday's Premier League predictions including Liverpool vs. Everton

Brighton vs. Southampton (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Both Brighton & Hove Albion and Southampton will be looking to bounce back from defeats when they lock horns in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The home side will enter the contest off the back of a 3-0 loss at Manchester City on Wednesday, while Southampton suffered a 2-0 defeat to Burnley on Thursday.

We say: Brighton & Hove Albion 1-1 Southampton

Both of these sides will be determined to bounce back from midweek defeats, but we are finding it difficult to separate them here. Brighton are in the better form, but they have only won three home Premier League matches this season, so we have had to settle on a low-scoring draw this weekend.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Burnley vs. Wolves (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Burnley will be looking to give their Premier League survival hopes another huge boost when they welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon.

The Clarets will enter the contest off the back of a 2-0 win over Southampton on Thursday, while Wolves have not been in league action since April 8, when they lost 1-0 to Newcastle United.

We say: Burnley 1-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Burnley will be flying after their win over Southampton, but Wolves will be the much fresher of the two teams heading into this contest. The visitors need the points to boost their European hopes, but we believe that the two sides could ultimately cancel each other out in a low-scoring draw.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Chelsea vs. West Ham (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Chelsea will be bidding to return to winning ways in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon when they welcome West Ham United to Stamford Bridge for a London derby.

The Blues are currently third in the table, five points ahead of fifth-placed Arsenal, while West Ham occupy seventh position, five points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.

We say: Chelsea 1-1 West Ham United

This is a very tough match for Chelsea, with the Blues struggling at home in recent weeks. West Ham have big defensive problems ahead of this game and will have one eye on next week's clash with Frankfurt, but we just have a feeling that the Hammers will do enough to secure a share of the spoils at Stamford Bridge.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Liverpool vs. Everton (Sunday, 4.30pm)

A Merseyside derby with major implications at both ends of the Premier League table takes place at Anfield on Sunday afternoon, as Liverpool renew hostilities with long-time rivals Everton.

Fifteen places and 47 points separate the local rivals in the standings at the time of writing, with the Reds still challenging for the quadruple while Frank Lampard's side scrap for their safety.

We say: Liverpool 3-0 Everton

Everton have certainly demonstrated more of a fighting spirit in recent matches, and the travelling crowd should be fired up to the maximum for Sunday's derby, but that is unlikely to translate into the result that matters.

On paper, the Premier League's best home side taking on the division's worst away team only spells one outcome, and we are not expecting any shocks to occur as the red half of Merseyside celebrates at the full-time whistle.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
