Daniel Sturridge believes that Liverpool will only get better next season and claims that the campaign has left them "hungry for success".
The Reds eventually finished second to Manchester City, but the 21-goal striker thinks that the squad will improve next term.
He told the Liverpool Echo: "We're all hungry for success and the fans deserve success. They've given us great support from the first minute to the last and I apologise to them for not winning the Premier League.
"I'll do everything in my power, just like my teammates will to try and ensure we do that for next season, and I believe that we can. Next year will be a big year for us and I'm looking forward to it already.
"I think this squad is unbelievable. We've done really well and I fully expect us to push on again next season."
Liverpool finished their season with a 2-1 win over Newcastle United on Sunday.
