Liverpool centre-back Martin Skrtel has been named the Slovakian Player of the Year.
The 27-year-old, who scored during Sunday's Carling Cup final, pipped Marek Hamsik to the prize by three points.
"What can I say? Three points is just one vote. I won two trophies in two days. It's fantastic," Skrtel told an awards ceremony in Trnava.
It is the third time that Skrtel has won the award in his career.
