Robbie Savage believes that Liverpool will have a better Premier League campaign than Everton.

Former Wales international Robbie Savage has stated his belief that Liverpool will win the battle of the Merseyside clubs in the Premier League next season.

Everton have finished ahead of their rivals in the last two campaigns, but having lost manager David Moyes to Manchester United and replaced him with Roberto Martinez, Savage is "sure" that Liverpool will come out on top.

"What will everton do under Martinez? Liverpool will finish above them that's for sure," he wrote on Twitter, while also adding: "I think west ham could also finish above Everton this year!"

Four places and 17 points separated Everton in sixth and West Ham last term.
