Mohamed Salah has praised his Liverpool strike partners and declared himself "proud" of being part of such a high-quality frontline.

Between them, the Reds attacking trio of Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane have rattled in 89 goals this term en route to the Champions League final and a potential Premier League top-four spot.

Salah is arguably the standout member of the trident, with 43 goals in 50 games this term, earning him the PFA Player of the Year and Footballer of the Year accolades.

"Their quality is unbelievable," the Egyptian told the Liverpool Echo. "They always try to give me the ball to score because they know I'm playing to be top scorer.

"They have big quality, they are unbelievable and I'm very proud to be part of the team and to play with them."

Salah has two games left to try to overtake Ian Rush's record of goals in a single Liverpool season, with five needed to break the Welshman's tally of 47 from the 1983-84 campaign.
