Brendan Rodgers: 'Form can go out of the window in derby games'

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers says that "form can go out of the window" during derby games, as his side prepare to take on Everton in the Premier League.

Brendan Rodgers has warned his Liverpool players that "form can go out of the window" during derby games, as his side prepare to face Everton in the Premier League.

The Anfield club got back to winning ways with a victory over West Ham United recently, but now face a tough test against Roberto Martinez's side playing on home soil at Goodison Park.

"I can only talk about our momentum, not Everton's. We're playing well and the balance of the team is really good," Rodgers told BBC Radio Merseyside.

"I'm happy with how it's going now, considering where we were earlier i the season. But in these games form can go out of the window, because you play with a different sort of emption.

"But at the moment, as a team we are operating at a really good level."

Liverpool currently occupy seventh position in the league standings.
