Martin Kelly features for Liverpool Under-21s

Martin Kelly stepped up his recovery from a knee injury by turning out for Liverpool's Under-21 side in Spain this afternoon.

The defender spent the majority of the last year on the sidelines with a knee ligament injury.

However, he featured for the entire 90 minutes against Sevilla in a match that ended in a 1-1 draw, with Kristoffer Peterson having got his name among the scorers for the Reds.

Full-back Jon Flanagan was also included in the side and completed the game.
