Glen Johnson slams "sofa experts" after Liverpool criticised

Glen Johnson hits out at "sofa experts" on Twitter after Liverpool are criticised for letting a three-goal lead slip against Crystal Palace.

Liverpool full-back Glen Johnson has hit out at criticism on Twitter after the Reds suffered a blow in their Premier League title race against Crystal Palace on Monday evening.

The Merseyside outfit let a three-goal lead slip to take just a point at Selhurst Park in their penultimate game of the season.

Despite moving back to the top of the league table, Manchester City, who have a game in hand, need just four points from their last two games to win the title.

After the match, Johnson aired his frustration by tweeting: "Absolutely clueless..... So many sofa experts in this game.... Absolutely no idea about football what so ever! #Jokers."

Liverpool's last game of the season on May 11 is at home to Newcastle United, while City welcome Aston Villa and West Ham United to the Etihad Stadium before the week is out.
