Liverpool attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho has heaped praise on Brendan Rodgers for his part in turning the team into title contenders.
Ahead of the crucial game against Manchester City on Sunday, Coutinho was eager to stress the importance of the relationship Rodgers has built with the players.
"He is a great manager - a manager who worries about his players and encourages the best from them," the Brazilian is quoted as saying by the Daily Star.
"He worries about the players personally too and that is why he is one of the best managers in the Premier League.
"Brendan tells us to forget the excitement and the expectations when we are out on the pitch."
Liverpool are currently two points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
