Jamie Carragher pays tribute to Xabi Alonso

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher pays tribute to Xabi Alonso following the Spaniard's retirement from international football.

Former Liverpool defender has paid tribute to ex-teammate Xabi Alonso after the Spaniard announced his international retirement.

The World Cup winner called time on his career with La Roja on Wednesday, and Carragher took to Twitter to praise the former Reds midfielder.


Alonso left Liverpool for Real Madrid in 2009.
