Carragher: 'I should have won more at Liverpool'

Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher feels that he should have won more trophies during his time with the club.

The centre-back will play his last game for the club against Queens Park Rangers today, bringing an end to a career that has spanned 16 years.

During a glittering career with the Reds, Carragher has won the Champions League, the UEFA cup, two Super Cups, two FA Cups and three League Cups, but the 35-year-old admitted that he should have added to his trophy haul.

"We should have achieved more under Rafael Benitez," Carragher told the Liverpool Echo.

"I'm not talking about a Champions League, but certainly a League Cup, a Europa League or an FA Cup. We should have [won] a few more trophies. We had top players [under Rafael Benitez]."

Carragher made his debut in 1997 in a League Cup defeat to Middlesbrough.
