Liverpool midfielder Emre Can claims that it will "not be easy" for Jurgen Klopp's side to register a win over Swansea City on Monday night.

Midfielder Emre Can has suggested that Liverpool will have to try to impose their style of play to earn a result against Swansea City on Monday night.

Liverpool make the trip to the Liberty Stadium on the back of a 4-3 triumph over Premier League leaders Manchester City, while Swansea remain rooted to the bottom of the table.

However, Can has suggested that Liverpool cannot afford to show any complacency against their hosts, who have recently appointed Carlos Carvalhal as their new boss.

The 24-year-old told Sky Sports News: "It is always difficult, if you win against City, everybody expects it to be an easy win, but it will not be easy, it will be very difficult.

"It will be a real challenge for us and we have to be at our best. We have to play our style of football again and we have to try and win the game."

"We played not long ago against Swansea. They played well, they tried to play football. I haven't seen many games under the new manager but they got a few good results and it will be a tough game."

Liverpool will move level on points with third-placed Chelsea with a win in South Wales.
