Simon Mignolet hails Liverpool's "amazing" team spirit

Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet hails the team spirit after their 2-1 win over Crystal Palace in the FA Cup.

Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has hailed the "amazing" team spirit in the camp after they fought back to beat Crystal Palace 2-1 on Saturday.

The Reds went behind thanks to Fraizer Campbell's opener, but second-half goals from Daniel Sturridge and Adam Lallana sent Brendan Rodgers's side through to the last eight of the FA Cup.

"[Team spirit] is amazing at the moment," he told the club's official website. "Everybody is fighting for each other and doing their jobs individually. It's always nice to get a victory as a team, that's what you want.

"The spirit is high and we have to build on that and keep doing the things we're doing at the moment. There's another game and we have to look forward to that one."

The Reds host Besiktas in the Europa League on Thursday.
