Liverpool's Simon Mignolet: 'Bolton Wanderers win will lift confidence'

Simon Mignolet says that the dramatic manner of Liverpool's FA Cup fourth-round victory over Bolton Wanderers will give the team an added boost for their forthcoming games.

Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet believes that the manner in which the Reds emerged from their FA Cup fourth-round tie against Bolton Wanderers will give them an extra boost for their upcoming fixtures.

The Merseyside outfit scored two late goals through Raheem Sterling and Philippe Coutinho to win 2-1 at the Macron Stadium on Wednesday evening.

"When you win in the last five minutes of the game, it does your confidence the world of good," Mignolet told Liverpool's official website.

"Maybe later on we can look at those last five minutes and think that they were very, very important. Everybody's pleased we're still in it because that's the main thing. We want to progress in the cup and go on to get silverware this season."

Liverpool will face Crystal Palace in the next round.
