Gerrard passed fit for FA Cup final

Liverpool's Steven Gerrard has been declared fit for the FA Cup final.

The Reds captain was left out of last weekend's 1-0 defeat to West Bromwich Albion due to concerns over his hamstring, but is expected to make a return for this Saturday's trip to Norwich City.

Manager Kenny Dalglish said: "He's fine, no problem. We said it was just a precaution so he's back training. He's been training all week, so there's no other problems."

Gerrard won the FA Cup with Liverpool in 2006, scoring an injury-time equaliser against West Ham before his side triumphed on penalties.

Liverpool will play Chelsea in this season's final on May 5.
